<e.courts> Team Leaders
Rebecca is the nation’s foremost electronic hearing room expert – a specialist in court room technologies, case preparation software, real-time transcription software and electronic evidence management. She has substantial experience and expertise in project management of large high profile litigation matters, Royal Commissions and Commissions of Inquiry. These operational roles have demanded effective and cost efficient information management systems, without compromising the standards of delivery or levels of customer service.
Rebecca is an advocate and litigator, having worked in private practice for over ten years before joining <e.law> as General Legal Counsel and Senior Consultant. She therefore understands litigation from a practitioner’s perspective and can offer lawyers sound advice on the best ways to maximise efficiencies by using IT during litigation.
Rebecca's excellent communication skills
and understanding of both the legal and litigation support processes enable
her to work effectively and fluidly with multi disciplined teams including
lawyers, paralegals, database administrators, web developers and other legal
and IT professionals. She is expert at balancing conflicting demands and
priorities to ensure client expectations and deadlines are met.
Additionally, her vast practical experience places her as best able to
assist clients with strengthening their strategic position in litigation by
adopting technology to enhance their workflow.
In addition to her proficiencies in information technology, Rebecca has an
interest in, and expertise in, risk minimisation, risk management strategies
and redundancy planning. Rebecca has implemented best practice strategies
within law firms.
