Allan has 13 years' experience as a computer forensics professional, together with 26 years' experience within the general IT environment. Prior to joining <e.law>, Allan ran his own computer forensics and IT security audit company in New Zealand, where he provided forensics services to the legal profession, private investigators and large corporations and also lead investigations into computer based crimes including fraud, IT misuse, IP theft, industrial espionage and network intrusions.

Allan is widely published in both the business and academic world and has been a guest presenter at a number of conferences and on television.

Allan has completed Post Graduate Diploma in Forensic Science, Bachelor of Business Studies, Bachelor of Science (major in Information Systems), Diploma of Policing and has recently finished his Master of Science (Thesis in Cyber Terrorism). Allan is a Certified Forensic Computer Examiner and Certified Fraud Examiner.
